Morgan is also home to the AEP ReCreation land, which encompasses 60,000 continuous acres of free hunting, fishing, hiking, and camping and is home to the Big Musky Bucket at Miner's Memorial Park. Nearby, you'll find the Wolf Creek Wildlife area, owned by ODNR, set aside for public hunting and fishing as well.

The Muskingum River with it's historic locks and dams traverses the county and is the state's second official water trail. The river is an ideal destination for leisure canoeing and kayaking, and home to a popular bass tournament.
