Enjoy fishing at this popular 3,500 acre Muskingum Watershed Conservancy Lake, or relax while sailing, waterskiing or sun bathing on the sandy swimming beach. Seneca Lake area also offers a more secluded retreat for camping or swimming in this scenic wonderland. Planned activities are available for campers and day-users.
John H. Glenn, Jr., was born in Cambridge, Ohio, on July 18, 1921. On February 20, 1962, atop an Atlas rocket, he rode into space and piloted the Friendship 7 spacecraft around the globe three times, becoming the first American to orbit the earth. Visit the John and Annie Glenn Historic site while in the area.
